Byron has 20 years experience placing technology in the service of organizational change. He has led successful internal start-ups for The University of Wisconsin, Digital Equipment Corporation, Berbee Information Networks, and others. He has worked in almost every aspect of computing including hardware engineering, if you count the keyboards he short-circuited as part of a software testing assignment. He combines master facilitation, intuitive organizational development, and broad technology experience to achieve not only technology but also organizational objectives.
His broad perspective and thoughtful leadership have improved the relationship
between users and their technology for Digital Equipment Corporation, the
University of Wisconsin, Boeing, Toys R Us, General Motors, Oshkosh B'Gosh,
ShopKo, Thrivent, Telephone and Data Systems and the American Kidney Foundation
of Wisconsin among others. Byron instinctively brings together diverse opinions
and interests, building buy-in for technology and information programs that
are well aligned with an organization's objectives.
